Brewing process products
The processability of a product is not only an indication of perfectly designed plants but also a result of the right ingredient selection and appropriate technology. The Research Center provides process monitoring support with its comprehensive, accredited analytics and the experience of its competent staff.
Additives and excipients
A multitude of additives and excipients is now permitted, depending on the specific national legislation. However, these also need to be analyzed and tailored to the necessary characteristics and hygienic requirements. The Research Center, along with its accredited laboratories and expert staff, is active throughout the food industry in this field.
Beer, beer mix beverages, soft drinks, and food
Ultimately, the consumer is only interested in a few characteristics of the different drinks, luxury items, and food. However, the producer also has product liability obligations to test further characteristics. All these analyses are offered by the Research Center, as well as the technological interpretation of these results and the legal framework conditions.
In terms of volume, water represents the biggest fraction of food and beverages. This ingredient must be strictly monitored from its source to the finished products. No pathogenic bacteria can grow in this but they can be transmitted. The Research Center offers all these services for a flawless water product, both from a chemical and microbiological perspective using its accredited methods. The Research Center is approved as an accredited laboratory for the analysis of drinking water in accordance with the German Drinking Water Ordinance.
Essential ingredients (raw nutrients, in-vitro characteristics, and energy and minerals) and undesirable substances (e.g. mycotoxins, insecticides) are similarly investigated for feedstuffs.
