Congratulations to PD Dr.-Ing. habil. Mathias Hutzler

The Weihenstephan Research Centre for Brewing and Food Quality congratulates PD Dr.-Ing. habil. Mathias Hutzler on his appointment as Privatdozent.

Dr Mathias Hutzler habilitated at the TU Berlin in 2022 on the topic of "Yeast biodiversity of traditional and modern hop-containing beer fermentations and their targeted expansion via developed yeast hunting methods" (award of the "Venia legendi"). After his rehabilitation at the TUM School of Life Science, he was granted the teaching qualification on 22.10.2022 and on 22.11.2023 he was appointed private lecturer by the Dean of the TUM SoLS, Prof. Ingrid Kögel-Knabner, and received the certificate of authorisation to teach.
